Hand-stitched using 100% Indian cotton scraps, finished with silk thread. This one-of-a-kind summer slip dress is a tribute to slow craftsmanship and an effortless way of dressing, made for layering.
Designed to drape loosely around the body, it features delicate grosgrain ribbons that tie at the back or wrap around the waist — allowing for versatile styling and a personal fit. Subtle 1940s-inspired side drapes and two soft darts offer gentle shaping, while generous 35 cm side slits invite graceful movement.

The LSJ studio makes handmade-to-order garments using rarely found vintage and reprinted antique textiles. Our practice is the opposite of next day delivery: a time- consuming and creative process, made by a small team of four people. We use traditional craftsmanship techniques that involve composing, cutting and sewing everything by hand, imbuing each piece with a sense of soul and beautiful finish lacking from today’s fashion system.
