An ongoing project since 2015, Cherished Objects began with Line’s dreamy Hair Clouds that put scrunchies back on the fashion map, hand-stitched from vintage silk scarves and repurposed fabrics found in all corners of the globe. The Cherished Objects edit consists of accessories and objects crafted by hand from antique and vintage fabrics often with repurposed scraps from previous collections.
The LSJ studio makes handmade garments using rarely found vintage and reprinted antique textiles. Our practice is the opposite of next day delivery: a time- consuming and creative process, made by a small team of independent artisans. We use traditional craftsmanship techniques that involve composing, cutting and sewing everything by hand, imbuing each piece with a sense of soul and beautiful finish lacking from today’s fashion system.
