True to traditions, this is my 2025 edition of antique holiday stockings - each made one by one in unique compositions, patched carefully and thoroughly where time has worn the quilt thin. Made from a hand-quilted antique toile quilt, finished with soft baby corduroy back in burgundy, lined with cottage-rose baby corduroy and padded with 100% biodegradable wool wadding. Trimmed with a hand-cut binding made from the smallest cut-offs from production.
In the spirit of tending to the light during the long northern winters, each stocking is made to bring a little extra warmth into the home - to hold small surprises, love notes, tangerines, and quiet treasures to be rediscovered year after year. Here in Scandinavia, where the season draws us indoors, these gestures can become gentle reminders of care - or cheeky little acts that keep the heart and home soft. No two alike; each one made to be cherished and used, year after year.

The LSJ studio makes handmade-to-order garments using rarely found vintage and reprinted antique textiles. Our practice is the opposite of next day delivery: a time- consuming and creative process, made by a small team of four people. We use traditional craftsmanship techniques that involve composing, cutting and sewing everything by hand, imbuing each piece with a sense of soul and beautiful finish lacking from today’s fashion system.
