My practice is the opposite of next day delivery: a time- consuming and creative process, using traditional craftsmanship techniques that involve composition, cutting and sewing everything by hand, imbuing each piece with a sense of soul and beautiful finish. Everything takes time, from sourcing the vintage textiles and designing the piece to our exacting tailoring, precise quilting and hand stitched piping. One piece alone like this is finished with 16 metres of hand cut piping.
Handmade by my extraordinary skilled Tailor in Copenhagen out of vintage Liberty wool and cotton, quilted with local wool to combat waste. Must be aired or dry clean only ocationally. Wool is self cleaning, please be mindful of this.
Measurements & Fit
I named this the 'Library Waistcoat', as it fits perfectly over thin cashmeres and shirts with skirts or trousers, while working in my atelier during winter. It doesn't take up as much space as our classic waistcoat in this sense, but keeps you warm while sitting still.
